I’m based in Southern California. And YESSS I love to travel! I have no set travel fees for out of state weddings and determine them on a case to case basis. Check out my travel page for more info!
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH FAMILIES/NEWBORN?
If by family sessions you mean you and your pup? I’m all in.
WHICH PHOTOGRAPHER WILL BE SHOOTING MY WEDDING?
Me, Christine! My business name can be confusing and I get this asked often. For Love & Light is MY baby and you get allll of me from start to finish.
HAVE YOU SHOT AT MY VENUE BEFORE?
Odds are I most likely haven’t, but as a professional, it’s my job to know the best lighting/composition on the spot. Being the overly organized person I am, I always do my research on your venue beforehand and I almost always show up early to scout the best photo ops for your wedding photos!
DO YOU HELP IN THE PLANNING PROCESS?
Yup! I’d like to think that my expertise lies far beyond just photography. I have a fashion merchandising degree as well as a background in graphic design so if it’s helping you decide on what to wear or helping your vision to life, I’m here to help! Not to mention I have 5 years of experience in the wedding industry, so I’m more than happy to give you my opinion on absolutely ANYTHING wedding related as well as rad vendor recommendations!
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU DELIVER?
On average, I deliver 30-50 images per hour for weddings. A wedding day can differ drastically from the number of people in a bridal party, including cultural traditions, or even unexpected delays that cause a long pause in the day. Due to the many variables, I do not give a guaranteed minimum number for deliverables. Although I do not guaranteed a minimum, there is no cap to how many pictures I deliver! Meaning… if you have your pup at your wedding, you’ll probably get 100 of just your pup. Haha jk but seriously, I don’t stop myself from giving you more of what tells the story of your big day.
WHAT’S YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
For engagements, 2-4 weeks. For weddings/elopements, 12-16 weeks. No I don’t slap on a filter and call it a day. I put a lot of time into every photo that I deliver.
DO YOU GIVE RAW/UNEDITED PHOTOS?
I do not give RAW/unedited photos. The easiest way to explain this is that the pictures I deliver to ya is the finished product. If you’re looking for someone to push a button, I’m not your girl.
CAN YOU FIX ME IN PHOTOSHOP?
It’s basically my job to make you guys look GOOD. With that being said, during the shooting process, I look out for your best angles, make sure you don’t have a triple chin, no boogers sticking out or spinach in your teeth. In post production, I photoshop blemishes & bruises. I gotchu.
